Air Museums at Chino Airport
Visitors from near and far learn the history of aviation, and the incredible contribution made by our men and women during the war years. The Planes of Fame Air Museum is dedicated to collecting, restoring, preserving and displaying aircraft for the enjoyment of future generations. Yanks Air Museum is a centerpiece for American aircraft including restoration and education programs.

Planes of Fame, located at Chino Airport in Chino, Calif., houses seven hangars and includes the Aviation Discovery Center, the Research Library, the Model Room, and a small theater. Altogether, including structures and outside tarmac displays, this location comprises of a 14-acre campus. The collection now numbers close to 160 aircraft, and nearly a quarter of these fly regularly.

Yanks Air Museum

Yanks Air Museum, located at Chino Airport in Chino, Calif., houses one of the largest and most historically significant collections of American aircraft including the World War II fighters, dive and torpedo bombers. The aircraft collection begins with the 1903 Wright Flyer (only replica in collection) and continues through the 1980s era represented by the F-15 Eagle, F-16 Fighting Falcon and Blue Angels F/A-18 Hornet.
The collection exceeds 190 aircraft, with some being the last survivors of their type. This facility encompasses 176,000-square-foot under roof and covers 10 acres. In addition to the display hangars, public access is permitted, on a supervised basis, to the main restoration hangar and boneyard where historic aircraft are in various stages of restoration.
