After two years on hiatus, the San Bernardino County Department of Airports is pleased to announce the return of the 19th Annual Apple Valley Airshow & NAPA© Auto Parts Car Display on Saturday, October 8, 2022.The support from our community and sponsors has been overwhelmingly positive and everyone is ready to get back to having fun.
Apple Valley Airport will be hosting the Apple Valley Airshow on Saturday, Oct. 8 from 9 a.m. -3 p.m. Tickets at the gate $10 cash. 11 and under KIDS FREE ADMISSION! Free parking.
The airshow will feature extreme aerobatics from legendary pilots, skydivers, paratroopers, warbirds and military fly-bys. Vintage planes, classic cars and military vehicles will also be on display.
A full schedule is planned, including Dawn Patrol RV Formation Team, breathtaking aerobatics by the Undaunted Airshows formation aerobatics team, aerobatic pilot Vicky Benzing in her 1940 Boeing Stearman biplane, John Collver in his AT-6/SNJ “Wardog”, Rich Piccirilli with Just In Time Skydivers, Paratroopers jumping from the C-53 Skytrooper D-Day Doll, vintage warbirds like two North American P-51 Mustangs from Palm Springs Air Museum and TBM-3E Avenger and SBD-5 Dauntless, SNJ-5 Texan, P-38 Lightning, the B-25 Mitchell from Planes of Fame Air Museum.Test and stunt aerobatic pilot Chuck Coleman will be performing in his Extra 300L some of the same aerobatics he trained the actors in for “Top Gun: Maverick” movie.
